Sri Lanka Telecom Entrance Control Project
A big Biometric project was done in Sri Lanka using over 250 fingerprint scanners at many places, all controlled from one central system. This system is the world’s first web-based fingerprint scanner and is patented in the US. It helps track the time and attendance of all SLT employees using a smart card and fingerprints. SLT also uses smart card readers for door access and webcams to monitor people.

Sri Lanka Parliament Project
Successful completion of the Access Control System using RF readers and cards, at the Sri Lanka Parliament, following Pilot Project. Sri Lanka Parliament is a place where security is a prime concern.
Sri Lanka Navy-Network-based Access Control System.
Phase 1 of a Navy security system in Sri Lanka uses biometric tech and 40,000 secure 4K smart cards with vehicle readers and monitoring software. It includes gates and barriers, with 650 units planned.
Sri Lanka Air Force- Access Control Solution
Phase 1: Thirty finger scanner units have been installed, and the project is to be extended (similar to the Sri Lanka Navy). Thirty more machines to be installed within the year.
